Getting started with Pilates

The right introduction to Pilates

Many people come to Pilates because they experience back pain, tension or stress in everyday life. Others want to improve their posture, increase mobility or reconnect with their body.

In the introductory training, we take time for you. We get to know your body, your movement patterns and your goals, and guide you into the Pilates method in a safe and effective way.

Individually guided from the very beginning

Especially at the beginning, a precise introduction is essential. That is why we usually recommend a personal introductory session for new clients.

We explain the fundamentals of breathing, posture and core activation, and guide you step by step through the exercises. This way, you learn Pilates correctly and can build your practice safely and effectively over time.

Who introductory training is suitable for

Introductory training is particularly suitable for:

  • with no prior Pilates experience
  • with back pain or postural issues
  • after injuries or longer breaks from training
  • experiencing stress or high physical demands in everyday life
  • looking for a mindful and sustainable form of training

Together, we then decide which format suits you best, whether personal training, duo training or training in a small group.

Your next step

After the introductory session, you can continue your training individually, either in personal training or in a suitable small group. This allows you to gradually develop more strength, stability, mobility and a deeper awareness of your body.
